Bei einem Besuch des Stoßdorfer Sees süd-östlich von Luckau konnte tatsächlich der gemeldete Sterntaucher (Gavia stellata) beobachtet und fotografiert werden. A Gull-billed Tern (Gelochelidon nilotica) was reported end of May 2014 in the Offenbach district. During an inspection in the Nature Reserve Gehspitzweiher in Neu-Isenburg a warden suddenly observed a predominantly white, gull-sized bird.
